When the Daikin
MC707B / Siesta pleated air filter replacement indicator turns on, you throw
away the old filter. To maintain deodorising power and dust-collecting
performance, all you have to do is replace the old filter with a new filter.
The front side of the two-sided pleated is the
electrostatic dust collection filter that works to collect dust, pollen,
mite droppings and detritus, mould spores and other particles that have been
positively charged by the plasma dust collector. The Daikin
Photocatalytic filter works on the reverse side with the Titanium Apatite
coating where Odour, bacteria and viruses are adsorbed and decomposed.
The filtering surface of a pleated filter is approximately 1.5 times larger
than that of a conventional flat filter.
